EXIST Hosting will soon schedule an IP migration for some of our Dedicated Server customers.

This migration is done in order to introduce our new IP structure for Dedicated Servers. Each server will get a subnet of 8 IP’s (5 usable IP’s) in its own private VLAN. Servers will have their own gateway, network and broadcast address.

Customers will benefit from having 5 free IP’s with their server and being secured in their own VLAN.  This then assures each customer that none of their IP’s can be used by other customers on the same switch. This will also create a faster and more reliable network for our customers.

We will email all customers with their new IP range for the migration to take place. BOTH sets of IP’s will be available during the migration to assure NO DOWNTIME for our customers. Customers should experience a flawless IP migration with no affect on their service. Those who need more IP’s will now have 5 additional IP’s to use at no additional charge.

EXIST Hosting has successfully configured and installed a test environment for VMWare Virtualization.

We are in the process of fully testing our latest hosting infrastructure which consists of Processing Servers with attached NAS, load balancing and firewall solutions.

This highly available infrastructure will assure a constant, reliable service for our customers as well as provide scalability for rapid growth. The infrastructure also provides a rapid disaster recovery system in which we can restore a failed service or server within minutes.
